Rehabilitation V3 EN

$100.00 CAD

The World Health Organization (WHO) defines rehabilitation as a process that helps people with disabilities resulting from injury (e.g. car accidents, falls, landmines) or illness (e.g. stroke, diabetes, cardiovascular disease) to reach and maintain an optimal mental, physical, and/or social functional level. Rehabilitation services may include rehabilitation medical care; physical, psychological, speech, and occupational therapy; and support services.

HSO’s Rehabilitation Services Standards are for organizations providing assessment and treatment services within an acute care setting (i.e. inpatient or outpatient services) or an independent clinic. These standards address how these services are planned, delivered and evaluated in order to meet the needs of populations that require rehabilitation services.

HSO’s Rehabilitation Services Standards contain the following sections:

  • Investing in Rehabilitation Services
  • Having the Right People
  • Delivering Rehabilitation Services
  • Maintaining Client Information
  • Monitoring the Safety and Quality of Rehabilitation Services
We are currently in the process of rebranding our products from “Accreditation Canada” and “Accreditation Canada International” to HSO. We appreciate your patience during this process.
